What is Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is an alternative medicine that involves using tiny needles to promote the body's natural healing ability. Acupuncture improves the body's circulation and can help to strengthen the immune system by promoting the free flow of energy. Acupuncture is a comprehensive medicine, which means we take into account not only physical health concerns, but also mental and emotional well-being. When you come in for your treatment, the goal is to regulate any energetic imbalances in the body so that you can feel your best. Most people find acupuncture to be a relaxing experience and even those who are afraid of needles are able to overcome the fear once they see how small the needles are and reap the benefits of treatment. Acupuncture can help with many ailments including pain, anxiety, stress, insomnia, IBS, infertility, PMS and headaches. Call today to make an appointment and find out how you can benefit from acupuncture.
