Xiomara (Kim) Brathwaite
Xiomara Brathwaite, LMT, NCTMB, Reiki Master, is a clinical massage therapist with over 6 years of practical experience. She received her Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences in New York. She is licensed by the New York State Education Department and certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.
Xiomara is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association and a member of the New York State Society of Medical Massage Therapists. She is also a Reiki Master practicing for over 6 years.
As a Clinical Massage Therapist, Xiomara is trained to treat a variety of conditions such as: migraine and tension headaches, rotator cuff syndrome, sciatica, low back pain, golfer’s and tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, piriformis syndrome, plantar fasciitis, whiplash and thoracic outlet syndrome to name a few.
As a Healer, it is Xiomara’s belief that there is no limit to healing. The essence of healing is very much like music; the mind, body and spirit are like a symphony when they are working together in harmony. It is her intention to utilize all modalities necessary to address a client’s concern and to facilitate their well being. As such, she addresses her clients on a case by case basis with respect, compassion, care and professionalism.
